KINGLOS VIOLINKINGLOS VIOLIN

Kinglos – the Leader in Visual-Art Violins

Kinglos violins are made of traditional materials of spruce and maple for violin to ensure its music performance feature. Meanwhile, with the latest coloring technology, they highly keep the resonance and tone intact, to endow the violin with stylish and personalized visual effect. The violins’ body and details are closely handcrafted and polished by senior luthiers, try to make sure that every violin is perfect before delivery.

Cold-Rock Series

Large floral pattern in cool color tone follows this year’s fashion color system; the color of showy yellow and light red falls on the cool background that makes a mild contrast, with an atmosphere of implication and a unique display style. The entire visual feeling is fashionable and exquisite, plus a beautiful sound quality; made through the Italian traditional craftsmanship with deliberate care and delicacy——which makes it a fine art work. This style is fit for the people of calm and pretty characters.

Notes:

Just like all of other new violins, you may need to retune strings first few times when you start to play. When cleaning, please using soft cloth to clean the body and strings, and loose the hair of the bow after playing. In order to not damage the violin when shipping, the bridge may be under the fine tuners with a white paper package. You can put the bridge on the right place just like our pictures showed before you retune the strings. How to keep strings in tune: push the pegs inward as you tune the strings up to pitch. This ensures that the pegs hold tighter as the tension of the string goes up. If it does not work, use peg compound to help lock the pegs in place. You can also apply chalk (or rosin cake) onto the pegs where it is inserted into the peg box.

How to choose violin sizes

Violins are available in 8 different sizes: 4/4 (also called full size), 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/10, 1/16 and 1/32. Size 4/4 is the biggest and size 1/32 is the smallest. All adults, regardless of their size, use the size 4/4 violin.

To measure what size violin best suits you, you need to know the length between your neck and the middle of your left-hand palm (when your hand is fully extended and raised perpendicular to your body, just like holding a violin). Most of the teachers prefer students to use the length from the neck to the wrist for measurement instead of the neck to mid-palm approach. The violin size determined by the neck/wrist approach would be the size that is more comfortable for students to hold. The violin size determined by the neck/mid-palm approach would be the biggest size students should use. The following table lists the length of each violin size. Find your length using your preferred approach and use that to determine the size of violin to get.
